The goron tribe will no longer provide the kingdom with weapons and resources, the zoran tribe will no longer provide the kingdom with food or water, and the kingdom can't get any help from the Deku King because they are having theor own problems. Now since Ikana Kingdom has lost all of it's allies, it became very weak. I also think that odolwa was angered even up to the point where he kidnapped the giant who resided over the swamp and locked him away into a seal of darkness, and this is proven when odolwa is defeated and the "innocent spirit" is freed from it's imprisonment. Skullkid would agree, having Majora's Mask. It's also possible that as punishment to the deku Kingdom, odolwa convinced skullkid to hunt down and use the power he accuired to kill the deku butler's son, ending the life of the next air to the Royal Butler position. The deku turning their worship to the giants angered odolwa because he felt betrayed by his people, so as punishment, odolwa cursed Southern Swamp with diseased water and kidnapped the deku princess. The effect of this would be that the gorons and the zoras prohibit any humans from tresspassing their land. Now that the zoras are their own tribe and so are the gorons, the goron and zora leaders would offer a peace treaty and alliance with King Ikana, but he is a wrathful king so he denied. And the giants could have helped them, leading to their victory. This is the independence war, where the gorons and the zoras fought against their kingdom for their independence. But knowing that if their king, King Ikana found out that they turned their backs on their gods for the Giants, they would be executed, they declared war against their king. Eventually the gorons and zoras saw them as gods and wanted to worship them, believing that the giants would offer them something like immortality. The gorons and the zoras saw the four giants as superior due to the power they demonstrated and their connection to mortal existence(I personally don't believe that the four giants are aware of the existence of the goddesses of Hyrule.). But at one point the Termanians discovered the existence of four giants who lived in an ethereal plane the in Termina. I believe that the Great Kingdom of Ikana not only worshipped the goddess of time, but the three golden goddesses of Hyrule as well. The German version rather calls this creature a "Boneling", where the 'gänger' suffix could mean 'ling' or something else. Now lets talk about who the Termanians worship, their gods. The Japanese version is read as "Stalbaby". They hunt their prey in large packs, and will only appear once the sun has set. Stalchidren are skeletal creatures who were never flesh and bone. The leader Stalchild in Ikana Graveyard when wearing the Captain's Hat: from this we can assume that skeletons cannot swim.Ī Stalchild in the Ocean Spider House, while wearing the Captain's Hat: If a Stalchild walks too deep into the water in Hyrule Field it will disintegrate right away, and usually leaving some rupees behind. Misscellaneous Notes Selfdestructing Stalchildren However take note that decapitating a Stalchild will not stop it, for the headless body will still try to pursue you. To add insult to injury, using the Deku Nuts will also stun them, and then you can kill them whilst they are immobile. Two hits from the weakest sword, either the Kokiri Sword or the Hero's Sword will kill them. All you simply need to do is attack them with any weapon. The Stalchild is an incredibly easy to defeat. In the Ocean Spider House there are 6 Stallchildren that will tell you the correct color combination so you can get to all the Spiders of the curse. Thus the stalchildren will provide him with useful information and will in some cases also open up a grave for him, and they will even call Link their Captain or Sir. If Link wears the Captain's Hat they think he is Skull Keeta the commander. Owing to the fact that they are the cursed soldiers of Ikana it can be accepted that they were once alive and are now haunting the world in the search of their own peace. They are known to haunt the Graveyard in Ikana and scare Dampé. However, within Majora's Mask, all of the Stalchild's can be seen to have a hierarchy in which they must conform to. Or you can just run away from these creatures for they are very slow and can never hope to keep up with you. The only way to stop these creatures from attacking you is to use the Bunny Hood, as you are too cute to attack. In Ocarina of Time the Stalchild simply attack everyone out on Hyrule Field, but only at night in Young Link's time period. The Stalchild's also look like they've suffered great pain, as their teeth still show where their gums used to be, and the colour of the red is that of the colour of blood. The Stalchild is the remains of someone, they have a disproportionate head for their bodies, and they wear a small amount of brown clothing around their waist.
